☀️ The Wind and the Sun

One day the Wind and the Sun had a fight. 'I am stronger!' said the Wind. 'No, I am stronger,' smiled the Sun.

Just then, a traveller walked below, wearing a coat. The Sun said, 'Let us test it. Whoever makes him remove his coat is stronger.'

'Easy!' said the Wind. He blew hard. Whoo! Whoo! The trees shook. Dust flew everywhere.

But the harder the Wind blew, the tighter the man held his coat. He buttoned it up to his neck. The Wind blew till he was tired. The coat stayed on.

Then came the Sun's turn. He did not blow or shout. He simply shined, soft and warm.

The man felt the warm light. 'What a nice day now,' he said. He opened his buttons. Then, a few steps later, he took off the coat and carried it on his arm.

The Wind used all his force and failed. The Sun used gentle warmth and won.
