It was a very hot day. A crow was flying for hours, looking for water. His throat was dry. He was very tired.
At last, he saw a pot near a house. He looked inside. There was water! But it was at the very bottom. His beak could not reach it.
The crow tried and tried. He pushed his head deeper. No luck. He almost flew away sad.
Then he saw small stones lying on the ground. An idea came to him.
He picked one stone and dropped it into the pot. Then another. Then one more. Stone by stone, the water slowly came up.
After many stones, the water reached the top. The crow drank happily and flew away strong.
A small bird with a small idea solved a big problem — one stone at a time.
