A businessman was on holiday in a small coastal village. He saw a fisherman relaxing beside his boat in the afternoon sun, with a basket of fresh fish.
'Why are you resting so early?' the businessman asked. 'I caught enough fish for today,' the fisherman smiled.
'But it is only noon! Go catch more!' The fisherman asked calmly, 'And then what?'
'Then you sell more, buy a bigger boat, catch even more fish!' 'And then?'
'Then buy many boats! Hire workers! Open a company!' 'And then?'
'Then move to the big city, work hard for twenty or thirty years, and become very rich!' 'And then?' asked the fisherman again.
The businessman's eyes shined. 'Then, my friend, you can retire! Buy a small house near the sea, fish a little in the morning, rest in the sun, and spend evenings with your family and friends.'
The fisherman smiled, looked at his boat, his village, and the sea, and said softly: 'What do you think I am doing right now?'
