A cruel lion ruled the forest. Every day he killed many animals — not for food, just for pride.
The scared animals made a deal with him. 'Every day, one of us will come to you. Please don't hunt the rest.' The lazy lion agreed.
One day, it was the little rabbit's turn. He walked slowly and reached the lion very late. The lion roared, 'Why are you late?!'
The rabbit bowed and said, 'Forgive me, King. On my way, another lion stopped me. He said HE is the real king of this forest!'
'ANOTHER lion?' The lion burned with anger. 'Show him to me!'
The clever rabbit took him to an old, deep well. 'He lives in there.' The lion looked into the well — and saw an angry lion staring back at him. It was his own reflection in the water!
He roared. The reflection roared back. Furious, the lion jumped in to fight — and that was the end of the cruel king. The little rabbit saved the whole forest with one clever idea.
