A cap seller was walking to the market with a big bag of colourful caps. It was hot, so he rested under a mango tree and slept.
The tree was full of monkeys. While he slept, they climbed down, and each monkey took a cap and wore it. Then they climbed back up, giggling.
The man woke up. His caps were gone! He looked up — and saw monkeys wearing them on every branch.
He waved his arms. The monkeys waved back. He jumped. The monkeys jumped. He scratched his head. The monkeys scratched their heads. They copied everything!
Then an idea flashed. The man took off his own cap and threw it on the ground.
And what happened? All the monkeys threw their caps down too!
The man quickly collected all the caps, smiled, and went on his way. The monkeys copied without thinking — and lost their fun in one second.
