One night, two frogs were hopping around a kitchen. By accident, both jumped into a big pot of milk!
The sides of the pot were tall and slippery. They tried to climb out. They slipped back. There was nothing to stand on — only milk everywhere.
The first frog got tired quickly. 'It is no use,' he said. 'We can never get out.' He stopped kicking... and he sank.
The second frog was scared too. But he said to himself, 'I will keep kicking. As long as I can move, I will not stop.'
He kicked and kicked and kicked. His legs hurt. Still he kicked. All night long.
And then something amazing happened. All that kicking slowly turned the milk into a lump of butter! Solid butter.
The tired frog climbed on top of the butter and hopped out of the pot, free. He did not know HOW he would be saved — he just refused to stop trying.
